Nothing too big going on. Had a few people over last weekend (had a good time) -- and I'm glad we did it last weekend because tomorrow is supposed to be ridiculously hot! Brendan made me a nice (if just a little bit crooked) cake then, so there won't be one tomorrow. Sunday will be a family dinner out. Nothing crazy.
Very early this morning, at about 6:45am there were a few loud knocks at the front door. The baby was already up, so at least I was awake. It was the police. They found a little three year old girl walking alone down the street. I hope they got her home.
We've been through this already. I thought we had gotten everything squared away. Brendan wrote letters and letters to the insurance company and had everything squared away with the NICU doctors (I thought).
Yesterday we got YET ANOTHER BILL FROM THE HOSPITAL. I have no idea what they think they are charging us for. They will be hearing from me.
Last night I decided to rearrange our living room furniture. So I got out the graph paper, had Brendan measure everything (not because I can't measure, but because he thinks I can't measure) and got to work. The plan I had envisioned in my mind and worked out on graph paper actually worked and I'm really pleased.
I haven't moved the living room around much at all since we moved in two years ago and it really needed it. Since there's no television in there, I don't have any chair to TV distance and angle requirements either and that makes moving things around even more fun.
I wonder if we take photos and send them to IKEA if they'd use it in their catalog? I just have to remove one lamp and then everything in there, even most of the accessories, is from their store.
